Článek se věnuje rozdílům mezi bolestí a utrpením, zmiňuje filozofickoteologické úvahy o jejichmožném významu, zdůrazňuje nutnost biopsychosociospirituálního přístupu k trpícím a přibli-žuje logoterapii Viktora E. Frankla.
