The operator of the projectMedScope.pro is exclusively the company MeDitorial. By using these sites, you further agree to this Website Usage Agreement:

These professional websites are intended solely for healthcare professionals, specifically those authorized to prescribe or dispense medicinal products or medical devices, and thus comply with the provisions of § 2a, 5b, and subsequent sections of Act No. 40/1995 Coll., on the Regulation of Advertising, as amended. These sites are not intended for the general public as defined by Act No. 40/1995 Coll., on the Regulation of Advertising. If you do not fall under the legally defined group of professionals or disagree with any provision of the usage agreement, do not enter these sites, as you would be using them contrary to their intended purpose, and these sites are not intended for you. The operator of these sites is not liable for any damage or legal violations resulting from the previous sentence.

By using, i.e., entering the websites www.prolekare.cz, www.prosestru.cz, www.prolekarniky.cz, www.veterinarni-lekari.cz (hereinafter referred to as "websites"), you enter into a Website Usage Agreement for Professionals (hereinafter referred to as "agreement") with MeDitorial, s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as MeDitorial), headquartered at Praha 2, Sokolská 31/490, PSČ 120 26, IČO: 271 99 151, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, insert 103858. MeDitorial is not liable for any damage arising from the use of these websites, and you are obliged to compensate the claiming party in full. MeDitorial assumes no responsibility for any misuse or misinterpretation of the information presented here.

The content of the websites is intended for professional audiences. The content includes professional articles, information about professional events, and links to other professional websites or organizations. The site is a database according to § 88 of Act No. 121/2000 Coll., on Copyright. All dealings with copyrights are governed by this Act and Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. Copyrights to the information and articles belong to the authors of the contributions, the executors of such copyrights, or the database operator according to the law.

The rights to the websites are exercised by MeDitorial. Without prior written consent from MeDitorial, the content of the websites, the websites themselves, or parts thereof may not be copied, printed, reproduced, taken over, disseminated, create derivative works, incorporate the websites into other websites, or used otherwise for commercial purposes without prior written consent from MeDitorial. Prior written consent from MeDitorial is not required if the use of the content of the websites or the websites or parts thereof is intended for personal use by a natural person, and the purpose of this use is not to achieve direct or indirect economic or commercial benefit, provided that the source is properly cited within such use.

All advertising and promotional information is intended only for professionals. Advertising information in any legal form is visibly distinguished from non-advertising content in the professional section and is fully compliant with Act No. 40/1995 Coll., on the Regulation of Advertising, as amended.

The websites also contain links to professional websites of other operators. MeDitorial is not responsible for the content of these linked websites in any extent and assumes no liability for them.

By registering on the websites, I give MeDitorial consent to process personal data, which I confirm in a separate form, ensuring that I receive all necessary notices and information related to the processing of personal data before confirming such consent. By registering on the websites, I give MeDitorial, in accordance with § 7 of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services, consent to use my electronic contact for the purpose of disseminating commercial communications from MeDitorial and their partners, especially insurance companies, suppliers, patient organizations, etc., as well as for sending email newsletters.

MeDitorial reserves the right to change the content and access to the websites. Planned significant changes to the content of the websites and changes in the use of the websites will always include the date of the change.

CONSENT TO PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

I agree that MeDitorial, s.r.o., headquartered at Praha 2, Nové Město, Sokolská 490/31, IČO: 27199151 (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), may process my personal data

for the purposes of my registration and use of the services, websites, projects, and applications grouped under the proLékaře.cz designation, including language versions, which are operated by the Company. The list of these projects is available here.
furthermore, for the purposes of sending newsletters / informational and offer emails (which may have the nature of commercial communications) issued by the Company about news, updates, and services of the Company and their partners,
and additionally, for the purposes of sending notifications in case a registered user has installed the mobile application,

all in accordance with Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Data Protection Act"), as amended, and in accordance with Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the "General Data Protection Regulation") for a maximum period of 10 years or until this consent is revoked.

I further agree that the Company may provide my personal data, including name and address data, to cooperating companies – processors, whose current list can be found here.

I confirm that I am aware of my rights related to the processing under the aforementioned legal regulations, particularly regarding personal data, specifically:

the right to access my personal data, their correction or deletion, or to limit processing;
the right to object to processing;
the right to data portability in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format;
the right to withdraw consent to processing at any time;
and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection.

I also confirm that I am aware of the way my personal data is handled and processed, specifically that:

my personal data are processed only to the extent provided by me and solely for the aforementioned purposes;
the Company performs the following actions with my data: stores them in a database, modifies them if I supplement them or request a modification, searches for them within its database, sorts them according to individual criteria, and disposes of them after the processing period mentioned above expires or after my consent is revoked.
the Company provides my data to processors from among its contractual partners, which I have consented to above.
