Opakovaná onemocnění malárií u cestovatele - význam profylaxe
Autoři předkládají zajímavou kazuistiku nemocného, který opakovaně pobýval na Bali. V období sedmi měsíců třikrát onemocněl malárií. Jeho druhé onemocnění bylo komplikováno rupturou sleziny, jež si vyžádala chirurgický výkon. Je zdůrazněna nutnost rychlé diagnostiky, správné léčby a nezbytnost antimalarické profylaxe.

The authors present an interesting tase-record of a patient who repeatedly stayed in Bali. During a seven-month period he had three attacks of malaria. His second attack was complicated by rupture of the spleen which called for surgical intervention. The authors emphasize the necessity of rapid diagnosis, correct treatment and the importance of anti-malaria prophylaxis.
