Psychologické důsledkymoderní války

Práce se zabývá problémy válečných veteránů, jež bývají mnohdy snižovány jen na posttrau-matickou stresovou poruchu. Autor se zaměřuje na reakce, které nejsou tak známé jakoposttraumatická stresová porucha a dále na stresory, jež se objevily teprve s novými vojenskýmitechnologiemi. Na základě rozsáhlého studia především zahraniční literatury a osobníchpohovorů s veterány vyplývá, že reakce na válečné trauma a stres se neomezují jen na formyposttraumatické stresové poruchy, ale na celou škálu více, či méně patologických reakcí.Teoretické poznatky aplikuje na tři nejdůležitější konflikty, jež se odehrály v posledních třicetiletech - Vietnam, Perský záliv a Jugoslávie. Poslední dva jmenované ukazují určitým způsobempodobu konfliktu, jenž se bude patrně i v budoucnu týkat vojáků NATO, a tedy i nás.

Overview

The article deals with the problems of veterans which are often reduced only to the post-trau-matic stress disorder. The author focuses on the reactions which are not so well-known as PTSDand on the stressors which has appeared with the new military technologies. Based on the widestudy especially of foreign literature and personal meetings with the soldiers and the veteransthe follows that sort of reaction is not only PTSD, bud wider scale of more or less pathologicalreactions. He applies the theoretical knowledge to the most important conflicts, that happenedin the last thirty years - Vietnam, Persian Gulf and Yugoslavia. The last two ones show a wayof warfire, which will probably concern the souldiers of NATO in the future. It means Czechsouldiers as well.
