Prevence virové hepatitidy B u kontaktů nosičů HBsAg

Během roku 1997 bylo ve 4 plzeňských laboratořích zjištěno 193 nosičství HBsAg. V 49,2 % byl pacient v době odběru hodnocen jako „zdravý nosič“. Na základě zjištěné pozitivity bylo rodinným kontaktům těchto osob nabízeno vyšetření hepatálních markerů, příp. bezplatné očkování. Nejvíce osob zareagovalo na základě osobního kontaktu řešitelů s HBsAg+ pacientem. Postinfekční markery (HBsAg, anti-HBcAg) byly prokázány u 21,4 % vyšetřených. Na základě finančních nákladů studie bylo propočteno, že vyšetření a očkování kontaktů HBsAg+ osob v celé republice by si vyžádalo částku 51 milionů Kč.

Overview

During 1997 in four Plzeň laboratories 193 HBsAg carriers were detected. In 49.2 % the patient was at the time of specimen collection evaluated as a „healthy carrier“. Based on the assessed positivity, family contacts were offered examination of hepatic markers or immunisation free of charge. Most subjects responded after personal contact of the authors with the HBsAg+ patient. Postinfectious markers (HBsAg, antiHBsAg) were detected in 21.4 % of the examined subjects. Based on financial costs of the investigation it was found that examination and immunisation of contacts of HBsAg+ subjects in the whole Republic would require a sum of 51 million crowns.
