Is it Always Possible to Ascertain the Cause of Haematuria?
Lze příčinu hematurie vždy snadno určit?
Diferenciální diagnostika hematurie nemusí být snadná. Vždy je třeba určit, zda je její původ renální nebopostrenální.Vtéto diferenciaci značně napomáhá vyšetřenímočového sedimentu s použitím mikroskopu s fázovýmkontrastem. V dětské populaci obvykle převažují příčiny hematurie renálního původu. Spektrum postrenálníchpříčin hematurie však může být také dosti široké a v některých případech je nutno k definitivní diagnóze použítvšechna dostupná pomocná vyšetření. Autoři uvádějí klinické pozorování, kde příčinou hematurie bylo cizí tělesov močové trubici.

The differential diagnosis of haematuria is not always easy. It is essential to assess always whether it is of renalor postrenal origin. In this differentiating examination of the urinary sediment use of a microscope with phasecontrast is helpful. In the child population usually haematuria of renal origin predominates. The spectrum ofpostrenal causes of haematurias can be also quite broad and in some instances it is necessary to use for the finaldiagnosis all available auxiliary examinations. The authors mention a clinical observation where haematuria wascaused by a foreign body in the urethra.
