Molekulární biologie a ústní streptokoky.Souborný referát
V současné době se při řešení problémů ve stomatologii, jako je podstata tvorby zubníhoplaku, přenos bakterií způsobujících zubní kaz v populaci nebo výskyt mutantních streptokokův hemokulturách při infekční endokarditidě využívá řada molekulárně-biologických metod.Cílem této práce je přiblížit čtenářům některé z těchto metod. K identifikaci bakterií jsoupoužívány metody založené například na restrikční analýze DNA. Dále se využívá polymerá-zová řetězcová reakce (PCR) umožňující zmnožení zvolené části nukleotidového řetězce in vitro.Takto získaná DNA se potom používá k dalším metodám molekulární biologie (sekvencování,restrikční analýza), jejichž cílem je prokázat či vyvrátit příbuznost sledovaných organismů.

Overview
Principles of creation dental plaque, transmission of bacteria inductive dentalcaries or presence of mutant streptococci at infectious endocarditis are the actual researchareas, in which modern molecular-biological methods can be used. The aim of the paper is toclear up the mechanisms of the methods which are applied in identification of bacteria (suchas restriction analysis, sequencing, PCR). Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is a progressivemethod by which we can amplify the definite part of the nucleotide chain in vitro. Sequencinganalysis of DNA is the most exact (but not the easiest) technique for comparison of congenialityof organisms.
