Changes in Periodont in Laboratory Rhesus Mon-keys (Macaca mulatta)
Změny na parodontu u laboratorních opicdruhu makak rhesus (Macaca mulatta)
Autoři srovnali nálezy na parodontu u 609 lebek makaků se skupinou 610 makaků rhesuschovaných v letech 1982–1996 ve VÚFB Konárovice. Přes značné množství zubního kamene sezáněty dásní u opic vyskytují ojediněle (0,5 %), spíše u jedinců oslabených nebo nemocných.Skupina opic mezi 15–22 lety má atrofii parodontu a fyziologickou ztrátu zubů. Ze slizničníchonemocnění jsme zaznamenali ojediněle afty.

Summary:
Authors compared changes in periodont in 609 rhesus monkey skulls witha group of 610 rhesus monkeys bred in 1982–1996 in the Research Institute for Pharmacy andBiochemistry Konárovice. In spite of the high occurence of the tartar the periodontopathieswere observed rarely (0,5 %), mostly in indisposed and sick individuals. In the group of 15–22years old monkeys the atrophy of periodont and physiological teeth loss were found. From themucousal diseases only aphts were rarely observed.
