Sevoflurane in clinical practice - first experience
Sevofluran v klinické praxi – první zkušenosti
Autor uvádí první zkušenosti se sevofluranem. Sledovaný soubor tvořilo celkem 170 pacientů, jak dětí, tak dospělých, kteří podstoupili různé formycelkové anestezie s použitím tohoto anestetika. Dosažené výsledky a minimální výskyt nežádoucích účinků v souboru ukazují, že sevofluran je ideálníminhalačním anestetikem jak pro dětskou anestezii, tak pro anestezii zejména v otorinolaryngologii.

The author presents his first experience with sevoflurane. 170 adult and pediatric patients were scheduled for different procedures in generalanesthesia with this agent. The results and minimal incidence of adverse effects in the set of patients document that sevoflurane is an ideal inhalationalanesthetic for pediatric anesthesia, ENT procedures especially.
