Does perioperative use of cell saver device influence homeostasis of an organism?
Ovlivňuje přístrojová peroperační autotransfuze vnitřní prostředí organismu?
Autoři ve své práci hodnotili, zda přístrojová peroperační autotransfuze pomocí přístroje C.A.T.S během operační korekce úrazů a deformit páteřeovlivní vnitřní prostředí organismu.Vyšetřovali Na, K, Cl, dále bilirubin, ureu a kreatinin v séru před a po přístrojové autotransfuzi u 16 nemocných. Statistickým zhodnocením pomocít-testu zjistili, že rozdíl mezi průměrnými hodnotami všech proměnných nebyl statisticky významný. Uzavírají, že přístrojová autotransfuze s pomocíaparátu C.A.T.S neovlivní vnitřní prostředí organismu.

Overview
Cell saver device C.A.T.S. was used perioperatively for autotransfusion during corrective operations for trauma or spine deformities. The effectson homeostasis were assessed in 16 patients. Following data were obtained prior and after autotransfusion: Na, K, Cl, bilirubin, urea and creatinine.Statistical evaluation using t-test yielded no significant differences between the followed parameters. Autotransfusion technique using cell saver deviceC.A.T.S. does not affect homeostasis.
Key words:
perioperative machine autotransfusion – C.A.T.S. – homeostasis
