Diabetic foot syndrome – a serious complication of diabetes mellitus even in the elderly

Overview

The diabetic foot syndrome is a debilitating condition that could lead to non-healing ulceration accompanied by risk of tissue/limb loss. This complication could be present also in advanced age and could seriously worsen the quality of life and the rapid solution could significantly improve the situation.
