The diagnostic process in primary health care – the most frequent sources of errors and possibilities for their elimination
Diagnostický proces v primární péči – nejčastější zdroje chyb a možnosti jejich eliminace
Přehledné sdělení je věnováno teoretickým i praktickým aspektům diagnostického procesu v primární péči. Důraz je kladen na limitace diagnostického procesu, zdroje chyb a možnosti jejich prevence a eliminace. Je diskutován efekt diagnostických asistenčních systémů na rozhodování lékařů. Jsou vyvozeny možné důsledky pro systém specializační přípravy a systém zdravotní péče.

Overview
The article is dedicated to the theoretical and practical aspects of a diagnostic process in primary health care. Attention is paid to the limitations of the diagnostic process, sources of errors, and possibilities for their prevention and elimination. The effect of diagnostic assistant systems on physicians’ decisions is discussed. Possible consequences for the health care system and the current system of postgraduate education are deduced.
