Princip dvojího efektu a svědomí

Článek se snaží zasadit abstraktní princip dvojího efektu do rozhodování lékaře. Smyslem principu dvojího efektu není rozhodování ještě více komplikovat, ale pomoci nalézt vhodné řešení. Je zřejmé, že takové řešení není výsledkem chladného kalkulu, ale je výsledkem setkání svědomí lékaře a svědomí pacienta. Oba, lékař i pacient, jako koneckonců všichni lidé, hledají v situaci, do které jsou postaveni, opravdové dobro. Dobro, které bude přitakáním životu, jeho plnému smyslu.

Overview

The article in an attempt to fit the abstract principle of dual effect into the decision making of a physician. The sense of the principle of double effect is not to complicate decision making still more, but to help find the right solution. It is apparent that such a solution is not the result of cold calculations, but a result of the meeting of the conscience of the physician with that of the patient. Both the physician as well as the patient, after all, just as all people seek real good in situations in which they find themselves. Good that shall be adhering to life, to its full import.
