Pacienti léčení pro návykové nemoci v Psychiatrické léčebně Bohnice v letech 1994–2003

V letech 1994 až 2003 došlo v Psychiatrické léčebně v Bohnicích k vzestupu počtu pacientů, u nichž se mezi prvními třemi propouštěcími diagnózami vyskytovaly poruchy působené alkoholem (vzestup o 77 %) a jinými psychoaktivními látkami (vzestup více než 4krát). K vzestupu došlo i u patologického hráčství (o 37 %). U problémů působených alkoholem byl největší vzestup zaznamenán u odvykacího stavu (asi 4krát). U problémů působených jinými látkami nejrychleji stoupaly počty léčeb pro závislost (téměř 5krát). Tento trend patrně odráží situaci ve společnosti, ale uplatňují se i další vlivy, o některých z nich se v práci zmiňujeme.

Overview

In the years 1994 through 2003 there occurred an increase in the number of patients treated at the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital, in whom among the first discharge diagnoses were disorders caused by alcohol abuse (increase by 77 %) and other psycho-active substances (more than 4fold increase). An increment also occurred in pathological gambling (by 37 %). In problems caused by alcohol the greatest was in the withdrawal state (roughly 4fold). In problems due to other substances the most rapid increase was in the numbers treated for addiction dependence (almost fivefold). This trend apparently reflects the situation in society at large, however, there also are in play other factors, some of which are pointed out.
