Eutanazie - téma stále aktuální

Problematika eutanazie je častým tématem odborných i laických debat. Tento příspěvek nenímíněn jako řešení tohoto problému, ale zabývá se spíše určitými podmínkami, které mohouovlivnit zdařilost diskuse na toto téma. Autor se domnívá, že je potřeba nejprve definovatproblém eutanazie a oddělit ji od jiných medicínsky zdůvodnitelných aktivit. Dále je nutnouvažovat o eutanazii jako o aktivitě, jež má být institucionálně zabezpečena, i jako o teoretickéalternativě.

Overview

The idea of euthanasia is often discussed among people and physicians. This article was notwritten with the aspiration to solve this problem, but is aimed as a reflection of social conditions,that can influence the success of the discussion on the topic. The author stresses, that it isnecessary to differentiate the problem of euthanasia from different medical activities. It is alsowise to reflect on euthanasia as a social institution and an alternative theory.
