Aortální disekce jako příčina smrti přes včasnou diagnózu a promptní léčbu

V krátkém sdělení autoři popisují případ pacientky s aortální disekcí s typickou klinickou manifestací, která vedla k rychlé diagnóze. Neprodlený transfer na kardiochirurgické pracoviště umožnil urgentní operační zákrok. Přesto pacientka později umírá na multiorgánové selhání. Autoři shrnují základní poznatky o chorobě a jejím průběhu a o způsobech léčby, komentují typickou symptomatologii popisovaného případu, rozebírají nastalé komplikace a zdůrazňují nutnost myslet na tuto diagnózu i v terénu, neboť zvláště ve starší populaci není tak vzácná, za jakou se všeobecně považuje.

Overview

In the submitted brief paper the authors describe the case of a female patient with aortic dissection with a typical clinical manifestation which led to a rapid diagnosis. Immediate transfer to a cardiosurgical department made urgent surgery possible. Despite this the patient died later from multiorgan failure. The authors summarize the basic findings regarding the disease and its course and therapeutic methods, comment the typical symptomatology of the described case, analyze the complications which developed and emphasize the necessity to consider this diagnosis also in the field as in particular in the elderly population it is not as rare as usually assumed.
