Dehydroepiandosterone,Dehydroepiandosterone Sulphate and Insulin in Acute Myocardial Infarction
Dehydroepiandrosterón,dehydroepiandrosterón-sulfát a inzulínu akútneho infarktu myokardu
Autori sa v práci zaoberajú vzťahom dehydroepiandrosterónu, jeho sulfokonjugátu a inzulínu kuischemickej chorobe srdca u pacientov s akútnym infarktom myokardu. Vo vyšetrenej skupinepacientov dokázali nižšie hodnoty dehydroepiandrosterónu a jeho sulfátu u mužov, nižšie hodno-ty dehydroepiandrosteónu u žien oproti priemerným hodnotám vzhľadom k veku a silnú inverznúkoreláciu inzulínu a dehydroepiandrosterónu a inzulínu a dehydroepiandrosterón-sulfátu. Či de-hydroepiandrosterón predstavuje „chýbajúci článok“ hyperinzulinémie a arteriosklerózy je zatiaľlen v teoretickej úrovni.
Klíčová slova:

Overview
The authors discuss the relationship between dehydroepiandsoterone, its sulphate conjugate andinsulin and ischaemic heart disease in patients with acute myocardial infarction. In the examinedgroup of patients they found lower values of dehydroepiandosterone and its sulphate in men, lower values of dehydroepiandosterone in women as compared with mean values with regard toage and a close inverse correlation of insulin and dehydroepiandrosterone and insulin and dehyd-roepiandrosterone sulphate.Whether dehydroepiandosterone is the „missing link“ of hyperinsuli-naemia and arterosclerosis is so far only a theoretical issue.
Key words:
Dehydroepiandrosterone - Insulin - Arteriosclerosis - Myocardial infarction
