Otravy olovemv malých provozovnách

Autoři referují o poškození zdraví vlivem olova ve třech malých provozovnách, kde se opravovalya vyráběly autobaterie, přičemž nebyly dodržovány základní hygienické podmínky. Celkem bylovyšetřeno 19 mužů, u tří z nich byla zjištěna zvýšená expozice olovu, u sedmi byla dia-gnostikována intoxikace olovem. V subjektivních obtížích intoxikovaných dominovala břišníkolika a u všech byla také zjištěna anémie. U jednoho nemocného byla diagnostikována toxickáhepatitida. Pět postižených mělo lehkou periferní neuropatii potvrzenou elektromyografickýmvyšetřením.

Overview

The authors present an account on health damage caused by lead in three small workshops forthe repair of car batteries where hygienic regulations were not respected. A total of 19 menwere examined, incl. three where increased exposure to lead was found, in seven lead intoxica-tion was diagnosed. Among the subjective complaints of the intoxicated subjects abdominal colicdominated and in all anaemia was diagnosed. In one patient toxic hepatitis was found. F ive ofthe affected subjects suffered from mild peripheral neuropathy confirmed by electromyographicexamination.
