Úrazy dětí na hřištích

Článek shrnuje dostupné zahraniční a české údaje o úrazovosti na dětských hřištích. Hřiště jsou místem odpočinku, ale také mají sloužit k rozvoji fyzickému, psychickému a sociálnímu. Tuto svoji úlohu nejen v mnoha případech neplní, ale stávají se i místem nebezpečným. V České republice je každoročně hospitalizováno přibližně 30 000 dětí pro úraz, z toho 9 % vzniká na hřištích. Třetina těchto úrazů je klasifikována jako závažná. Příčinou jsou především pády, kolize se zařízením hřiště a konflikty mezi dětmi. Pro bezpečnost hřiště má zásadní význam jeho stav, kvalita povrchu, použité materiály a vybavení, velikost a odpovídající využití, včetně údržby. Ačkoliv v České republice jsou od roku 1999 platné normy EU týkající se bezpečnosti hřišti, přesto se této problematice nevěnuje náležitá pozornost.

The article offers available information on children Playground injuries. Each year in the Czech Republic 30 000 children are treated for injuries of which 9 % haPPened in Playground settings. Part of the equipment designed for the Physical, mental and social development and relaxation is dangerous because of the unsuitable surface, materiály and lack of the maintenance. The place, mechanisms, time and the risk factors for Playground injuries are discussed with the intention to point out intervention Possibilities. The most common injuries on Playgrounds such as fractures and head injuries are caused by falls from equipment, collisions with equipment and conflicts among children. 5upervision is also often underestimated and this leads to serious injuries. The total amount of these injuries is Probably much higher, because the majority of injuries which occurred on Playgrounds, is not admitted to hospital. The EU standards on Playground safety esere accepted in the Czech Republic in 1999 but the imPlementation is still delayed.
