Práce podává přehled o současné situaci očkování proti tuberkulóze v České republice, o indikacích a kontraindikacích aplikace BCG vakcíny, výskytu komplikací po tomto očkování a způsobu jejich ošetření. Zabývá se rovněž indikacemi a kontraindikacemi provádění tuberkulinového testu a jeho hodnocením.
