Kryoterapiea fotokoagulace v léčbě ROP

V retrospektivní studii je srovnávána efektivita kryopexe a fotokoagulace diodo-vým laserem v léčbě prahového 3. stadia ROP v zóně II až III. Sledovaný soubortvoří 40 očí (20 dětí) po kryoterapii a 32 očí (16 dětí) po fotokoagulaci diodovýmlaserem. Doba sledování činí 5-9 let po zákroku, je hodnocena nejlepší korigovanázraková ostrost a velikost refrakční vady. Vizus v rozmezí 6/6 až 6/18 mělo 53 % očíošetřených kryoterapií a 56 % očí ošetřených fotokoagulací. Rozdíl mezi oběmaskupinami nebyl statisticky, významný (P= 0,094). Myopii nad -6,0 dpt mělo 32,5 %očí po kryoterapii a 22 % očí po fotokoagulaci (P

In a retrospective clinical trial is compared efficacy of transscleral cryotherapyversus diode laser photocoagulation in the treatment of threshold stage 3 retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) in zone II-III. 40 eyes were treated with cryotherapyand 32 eyes were treated with diode laser photocoagulation. All children havebeen followed up for 5 to 9 years after treatment. The long-term best-correctedvisual acuity (BCVA) and refractive errors were evaluated. BCVA from 6/6 to 6/18in last examination had 53% of eyes with cryotherapy and 56% of eyes withphotocoagulation. The difference was not statistically significant (P= 0.094).Myopia over -6.0 D were at 32.5% of eyes with cryotherapy and at 22% of eyes withphotocoagulation.
