Anaesthesiological Technique with Endovascular Stentgraft Implantation for Aortic Aneurysms
Anesteziologický postup při endovaskulárnímzavádění stentgraftu do výdutí aorty
Aneuryzma břišní aorty (AAA) je závažné a relativně časté onemocnění, které pacienta bezprostředně ohrožuje rupturous krvácením. Kromě klasické chirurgické metody řešení aortálních výdutí se v posledních letech rozvíjí i další metoda –endovaskulární zavádění stentgraftů do aortálních výdutí. Pro svou nižší invazivitu je výhodná zejména u nemocných, kteříjsou pro klasický chirurgický výkon velice rizikoví nebo zcela neúnosní.V Nemocnici Na Homolce se tato metoda používá od roku 1996. Autoři uvádějí svou zkušenost a anesteziologický postuppři endovaskulárním zavádění stentgraftů do aortálních aneuryzmat.

Abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA) is a serious and relatively frequent disease which directly endanger a patient with ruptureand haemorrhage. Besides a standard surgical technique of AAA repair, another method has been developed in the lastyears – endovascular stentgraft implantation for aortic aneurysms. For its lower invasiveness it seems to be suitableespecially in high-risk patients in whom standard surgical operation is too risky.At the Homolka Hospital this method has been used since 1996. The authors describe their experience and anaesthesiologicaltechnique with endovascular stentgraft implantation for aortic aneurysms.
