A Contribution to Discussion on Untoward Effects of Non-steroid Antirheumatics
PŘÍSPĚVEK K DISKUSI O NEŽÁDOUCÍCH ÚČINCÍCH NESTEROIDNÍCH ANTIREVMATIK
Autor podává stručný přehled mechanismů účinků nesteroidních antirevmatik (NSA). Na podkladu těchto faktů podává přehled nežádoucích účinků této lékové skupiny s důrazem na účinky na kardiovaskulární aparát. Diskutovány jsou především tyto negativních účinky. Závěrem autor podává obecná doporučení při podávání NSA ve světle dnešních názorů k této problematice.

Overview
The author briefly reviews mechanisms of effect of non-steroid antirheumatics (NSA). Based on this information the survey of untoward effects of these drugs pays particular attention to effects on cardiovascular system. These negative effects are discussed in particular. In conclusion, the authors outline general recommendations for the administration of NSA in view of present opinions on this problem.
