Článek pojednává o ověřených principech mechanického ohodnocení pohybového systému podle Robina McKenzie. Popisuje rozlišení jednotlivých syndromů. Navrhuje možný postup při identifikaci mechanických diagnóz pro páteř a z toho vyplývající terapie. Upozorňuje na relevantnost spolehlivosti palpačního vyšetření v porovnání s bolestivým chováním.

Overview

The paper deals with proven facts and principles of mechanical assessment of the musculoskeletal system according to Robin McKenzie. It describes all McKenzie syndromes in the lumbar spine resulting in mechanical diagnosis and choice of treatment. The author shows the reliability of palpation of the lumbar spine by comparison with pain behaviour.
