MENTÁLNĚ POSTIŽENÉ DÍTĚ Z POHLEDU LÉKAŘE ODBORU LÉKAŘSKÉ POSUDKOVÉ SLUŽBY
Autorka se s využitím své původní pediatrické erudice zamýšlí nad posuzováním dětí s mentálním postižením. Upozorňuje na obtížnost a nesnadnost diagnostiky a uvádí kromě jiného význam integrace na zmenšení handicapu. Pro posouzení nezbytné psychologické vyšetření nebývá vždy jednoznačné a izolovaný význam IQ nesmí být přeceňován. Praxe ukazuje, že indikovaně přiznaná částečná invalidita většinou celkovou situaci posuzovaného neřeší.

Overview
The author reflects on assessing children with mental handicap using her former pediatric qualification. She reminds of diagnostic difficulties and presents beside others the importance of integration for diminishing handicap. The psychological examination required for the assessment might not be unambiguous and the isolated IQ must not be overestimated. The practise shows that approved indicated partial disability usually does not solve the overall situation of the assessed person.
