Indikace k uzávěru perzistujícího foramen ovale u nemocné s plicní hypertenzí a proběhlou paradoxní embolizací

Perzistující foramen ovale (PFO), aneuryzma síňového septa a Chiariho síťka jsou rizikovými faktory cévní mozkové příhody. Kazuistika uvádí případ mladé ženy s plicní hypertenzí a PFO ošetřené implantací Amplatzerova okludéru po prodělané paradoxní embolizaci.

Overview

Patent foramen ovale (PFO), atrial septal aneurysm and Chiari’s network are known risk factors for cardioembolic stroke. We report a case of young woman with pulmonary hypertension and PFO treated by implantation of Amplatzer occluder after paradoxical embolism.
