Overview
Organophosphates are substances used to protect plants. In the article we point out toxicological issues of seasonal agricultural work, symptoms of poisoning and methods of treatment. The prognosis of an intoxicated patient can by improved by prompt intervention. Precautionary measures during application of these substances on plants are also important, not only on an industrial scale, but in the household too.
