Overview
The author presents the case report of professional non-immunological asthma of an employee of a firm that manufactures spare parts for cars. This workshop is registered as category 3-4 workplace risk for a mixture of textile fibres (polypropylene and polyester). Considering that recently most employment opportunities in our region are of the same type, the number of employees with dyspnoea caused by work is on the increase. The reason for these problems is not always sensitivity, but through the direct irritation of the respiration tract induced by non-immunological asthma.
