Diagnosis of Rotavirus Infections and their Notification in the CzechRepublic in 2001
Diagnostika rotavirových nákaz a jejich hlášení v ČRv r. 2001
V r. 2001 bylo ve 44 laboratořích v ČR laboratorně potvrzeno 2 250 rotavirových infekcí. Z celkovéhopočtu diagnostikujících pracovišť 37, tj. 84,1 % využívá latexovou aglutinaci. Mezi vyšetřenýmipřevládaly děti do 3 let věku, pozitivní nález byl u nich potvrzen ve 23,0 %. Specifická nemocnostv této věkové skupině dosáhla 651,3 onemocnění/100 000 a rok. Hygienické službě bylo během rokuhlášeno 851 sporadických onemocnění a 72 nákaz, které vznikly ve 3 epidemiích. Z laboratorněověřených infekcí bylo ohlášeno pouze 39,3 %. Byl zaznamenán pravděpodobně 1 importovanýpřípad onemocnění, úmrtí nebylo hlášeno.

In 2001 in 44 laboratories in theCRby laboratory methods 2 250 rotavirus infectionswere confirmed.From the total number of diagnostic departments 37, i.e. 84.1% use latex agglutination. Among theexamined subjects children under 3 years predominated a positive finding being confirmed in 23.0%.The specific morbidity in this age group was 651.3 cases/100 000/year. The hygiene service receivedin the course of the year 851 notifications of sporadic cases and 72 infections which developed inthree epidemics. As to infections confirmed by laboratory examinations only 39.3% were notified.Probably also one imported case of the disease was recorded, no death was reported.
