Complete Regression of Bone Marrow Fibrosis Following AllogeneicPeripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplantation in a Patient with IdiopathicMyelofibrosis
Kompletní regrese fibrózy kostní dřeně poalogenní transplantaci periferníchkrvetvorných buněk u pacienta s idiopatickoumyelofibrózou
Je prezentován případ 47letého muže, který byl od roku 1981 sledován pro idiopatickou myelofibrózu.Pro progresi základního onemocnění se známkami selhávání krvetvorby mu byla v roce2002 provedena alogenní transplantace periferních krvetvorných buněk od HLA identického sourozence.V potransplantačním průběhu bylo opakovaně provedeno trepanobioptické vyšetření,kde je dokumentována 6 měsíců po transplantaci kompletní regrese fibrózy. Jedná se o prvnípřípad použití tohoto způsobu léčby v této indikaci ve FN Hradec Králové.

The authors present a case of a 47-year-old man with idiopathic myelofibrosis. The diagnosis ofmyelofibrosis was made in 1981. Because of progression of the disease and failure of hematopoiesisin 2002, allogeneic peripheral blood stem cell transplantation was performed; the donor was anHLA identical relative. Six months after transplantation, trephin biopsies were made and a completeregression of bone marrow fibrosis was documented. It is the first case of this treatment foridiopathic myelofibrosis in the University Hospital in Hradec Králové.
