Gramnegativní infekce meziprstních prostor nohou
Gramnegativní infekce meziprstních prostor nohou může být znepokojujícím a někdy i zneschopňujícímonemocněním, které u zanedbaných nebo predisponovaných osob může hrozit ažsepsí. Příčina bývá multifaktoriální, s přerůstáním gramnegativních mikroorganismů mezi prsty vespojení s výraznou, infekci predisponující hyperhidrózou. Podobně zvyšuje pravděpodobnost přerůstáníinfekci vyvolávajících mikroorganismů trvalé nošení uzavřené obuvi, znemožňující větránínohou. Usnadnění proliferace bakteriální flóry v meziprstních prostorách také zvyšuje sportovníčinnost, zvláště při pobytu ve vlhku nebo ve spojení s vodními sporty. U některých pacientů můžetoto onemocnění začít jako sekundární infekce tinea pedis.

Gram-negative toe web infections can be a distressing and at times disabling disorder, with thethreat of sepsis possible in neglected or predisposed individuals. The cause may be multifactoral,with overgrowth of Gram-negative organisms between the toes associated with marked hyperhidrosis,which may predispose the infection. Likewise, constant wearing of closed shoes so that the feetdo not getmuch air circulation increases the chance of overgrowth of the microorganisms that createinfections. Sporting activities increase the changes of interweb bacterial proliferation, especiallywith wet or water-related sports. In some patients this disorder may begin as a secondary infectionof tinea pedis.
