Disorder of Wound Healing in Dentoalveolar Practice
Poruchy hojení ran v dentoalveorální chirurgii
Mezi nejčastější a klinicky významné překážky hojení ran patří hypoxie rány a tkání, infekce, přítomnost nečistot a nekrotické tkáně, protizánětlivé léky (zejména při hojení chronických ran), hypovitaminózy, poruchy minerálního hospodářství, podvýživa, celkový nutriční deficit, nádory, negativní vlivy prostředí, metabolické poruchy, jako např. diabetes mellitus. Léčba a ošetření rány by mělo být cíleno proti hlavním etiologickým faktorům odpovědným za poruchu hojení rány. Co víc, tyto faktory by měly být nejen brány v úvahu, ale pokud je to možné, zcela je eliminovat jejich korekcí či odstraněním. To však zahrnuje jak ovlivnění lékařem, tak i ošetřujícím a pacientem.

Overview
Some of the most commonly encountered and clinically significant impediments to wound healing include wound hypoxia, infection, presence of debris and necrotis tissue, use of anti-inflammatory medications, a diet deficient in vitamins or minerals, or general nutritional deficiencies, tumors, environmental factors, and metabolic disorders, such as diabetes mellitus. Treatment of wounds should be directed against the main etiologic factors resonsible for the wound. Moreover, factors that may impede healing must be identified and, if possible, corrected, for healing. It also presents a challenge to physicians, caregivers, and patients alike.
