Stomatitis in Patients after Autologous Transplan-tation of Haematopoietic Stem Cells
Stomatitis u nemocných po autolognítransplantaci hemopoetických kmenovýchbuněk
Na souboru 70 pacientů s hematoonkologickým onemocněním, kteří prodělali autolognítransplantaci hemopoetických kmenových buněk, byl formou prospektivní studie zkoumánvýskyt stomatitidy a efektivita předchozí defokizace. Stomatitidou bylo postiženo téměř 70 %pacientů. Radikalita stomatologického ošetření byla dostatečná k prevenci vzniku komplikacívztahující se k ústní dutině. Stomatitida trvala průměrně týden a korelovala s obdobím těžkéneutropenie.

The authors investigated in a prospective study 70 patients with haematoonco-logical diseases, who had an autologous transplantation of haematopoietic stem cells, theeffectivity of previous defocization. 70 % of the patient suffered from stomatitis. The radicalityof dental treatment was sufficient to prevent the development of complications in the oralcavity. Stomatitis lasted on average one week and correlated with the period of severeneutropenia.
