Suicide in the Light of Historical Attitudes of the Society and Some Forensic Aspects
Sebevražda ve světle historických postojů společnosti a některé forenzní aspekty
Duševním stavem jedince před spácháním sebevraždy se zabývá řada prací, jsou uvedeny některé názory z oblasti filozofie, psychiatrie a sociologie. Předmětem sdělení je posouzení platnosti závěti, kterou sepsal v minulosti psychiatricky léčený 38letý muž bezprostředně před sebevraždou oběšením. Autoři se domnívají, že platnost právního úkonu, byť učiněného za těchto okolností, by neměla být zpochybněna, pokud se neprokáže, že obsah tohoto úkonu byl ovlivněn psychotickým procesem.

Overview
The mental condition of the individual before committing suicide has been dealt with in various reports presenting opinions from the area of philosophy, psychiatry and sociology. The communication evaluates the validity of the will having been written by a 38-year man, previously treated in psychiatry, immediately before suicide by hanging. The authors are of the opinion that validity of the legal action, although made under such conditions, should not be questioned provided the content of the action was not influenced by a psychotic process.
