Concurrent Organic Brain Damage and Posttraumatic Stress Disorders: Neuropsychiatric Case-record
Souběh organického poškození mozku a posttraumatické stresové poruchy: neuropsychiatrická kazuistika
Autoři představují případ 151eté dívky se střelným poraněním hlavy s následným vznikem organického poškození mozku. K poranění došlo za dramatických okolností, jež podmínily současný vznik posttraumatické stresové pornchy. V klinickém obraze se prolínaly příznaky organického i psychotraumatického postižení, které bylo velmi nesnadné až nemožné odlišit. Kazuistika je doplněna teoretickým přehledem problematiky a diskusí o diferenciální diagnostice symptomatiky.

The authors present the tase of a 15-year-old girl with a gunshot injury of the head with the subsequent development of organic brain damage. The injury occurred under dramatic conditions which caused the comcurrent development of a stress-conditioned disorder. In the clinical picture intermingled symptoms of organic and psychotraumatic affection which was very difficult to impossible differentiate. The tase-history is supplemented by a theoretical review of the problem and discussion of the differential diagnosis of the symptoms.
