POROVNÁNÍ APLIKACE SULFO-A KARBOXYAZOBARVIV JAKO ČINIDELV IONTOVĚ-PÁROVÉ EXTRAKČNÍSPEKTROFOTOMETRII BAZICKÝCH LÉČIV

Pro extrakčně spektrofotometrické stanovení tetra-n-butylammonium bromidu jako modelové sta-novované látky bylo porovnáváno použití analogických hydroxy- a aminoazobarviv obsahujícíchsulfo- nebo karboxyskupiny jako činidel. Zatímco sulfoazobarviva jsou použitelná v širokém rozmezípH 2–10 s výjimkou aminoazobarviv, jejichž protonovaná forma se při pH < 3 vylučuje jako sraženinaz roztoku, je použití karboxyazobarviv vzhledem ke značné hodnotě pKA silně omezeno na oblastvysokého pH. Výjimku tvoří metylčerveň, jejíž pKA je uváděno v rozmezí 4,88–5,06.

Overview

The application of acid hydroxy or amino azo dyes containng sulfo or carboxy groups as reagents forthe determination of tetra-n-butylammonium bromide as the model compound was compared. Thesulfonated dyes are applicable within a broad range of pH 2–10 with the exception of amino azodyes, the protonated form of which, formed at pH < 3, is precipitated from the solution. Theapplication of carboxy azo dyes, owing to their high pKA values, is strongly limited to very high pHvalues. Methyl red is an exception, its pKA value is in the range of 4.88–5.06.
