Tears of the Retinal Pigmented Epithelium
Trhlina retinálního pigmentového epitelu
V článku jsou popsány spontánní trhliny retinálního pigmentového epitelu u 3 očí2 pacientů s věkem podmíněnou makulární degenerací. Ve všech případech bylvznik trhliny spojen s okultní choroidální neovaskulární membránou zjištěnoufluoroangiograficky. Uvedeny jsou charakteristické klinické rysy a současné názory na patogenezu trhliny.

The authors describe spontaneous tears of the retinal pigmented epithelium inthree eyes of two patients with age-related macular degeneration. In all instancesthe development of the tear was associated with an occult choroidal neovascularmembrane detected by fluoroangiography. The authors describe typical clinicalfeatures and contemporary views regarding the pathogenesis of the tear.
