Mukokely vedlejších dutin nosních

Autoři retrospektivně zpracovali výsledky léčby 4 pacientů (všichni muži) s mukokelou vedlejších dutin nosních (VDN) za 30měsíční období, kteří byli hospitalizováni na ORL oddělení VFN v Praze. U všech pacientů šlo o postižení čelníchdutin, 3krát bylo postižení čelních dutin jednostranné, u jednoho pacienta bylopostižení oboustranné. V osobní anamnéze měli všichni pacienti v předchozímobdobí v délce 5 - 30 let úraz nebo operační výkon na VDN. U tří sledovanýchpacientů bylo první vyšetření provedeno oftalmologem pro protruzi bulbu, otokhorního víčka a diplopii.U všech pacientů byl volen zevní chirurgický přístup 4krát frontoetmoidectomiesec. Jansen Ritter, 1krát byla provedena osteoplastická frontální kraniotomie.Doba pooperačního sledování je 2 - 30 měsíců.

Overview

In a retrospective study authors refer to the treatment results in four patientswith mucocele of the paranasal sinuses, whowerehospitalized during a 30-monthsperiod at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Charles UniversityHospital, in Prague, Czech Republic. In all patients the frontal sinus was involved,in three cases the involvement was unilateral, in one case bilateral. In the medicalhistory of all patients, an injury, inflammation, or surgery of the paranasal sinusin the past (5 - 30 years ago) were present. In three patients, proptosis of the eye,swollen upper eyelid, and diplopia were discovered firstly by ocular examination.All patients underwent external approach surgical treatment, in four cases it wasthe frontoethmoidectomy sec. Jansen-Ritter, in one case the osteoplastic frontalcraniotomy was performed. The postoperative follow-up period is 2 - 30 months.
