Pars plana vitrektomieu subretinálních neovaskulárníchmembrán při věkem podmíněnémakulární degeneraci

Možností léčby CNV u věkem podmíněné makulární degenerace jsou značněomezené. Konzervativní léčba nepřináší efekt, laserkoagulace se dnes uznává jakometoda volby jen u vybrané skupiny pacientů a její výsledky jsou více než zkla-máním. Chirurgická extrakce subretinálních neovaskulárních membrán otevíráširší možnosti zlepšení zrakových funkcí u indikovaných pacientů, u většinyumožňuje jejich stabilizaci.Autoři prezentují vlastní sestavu 20 pacientů s provedenou extrakcí CNV, zmiňujítechniku extrakce, indikace a výsledky.

Overview

The possibilities of treatment of chorioideal neovascular membrane (CNV) inage-related macular degeneration are very limited. Conservative treatment hasno effect, laser coagulation is accepted nowadays as the method of choice only ina selected group of patients and its results are more than disappointing. Surgicalextraction of subretinal neovascular membranes opens wider opportunities forimprovement of optic functions in indicated patients, in the majority it makestheir stabilization possible.The authors present a group of their own 20 patients where extraction of CNVwas performed. They describe the technique of extraction, indications and results.
