Retrolenticular Fragments of Lenticular Material - a Problem of Phacoemulsifi-cation ?
Retrolentární fragmenty čočkovýchhmot - problém fakoemulzifikace?
V souboru 100 konsekutivních operací katarakty metodou fakoemulzifikacev roce 1998 byl v 9 % pozorován průnik fragmentů čočkových hmot do retrolen-tárního prostoru. Jde o méně častý průvodní jev fakoemulzifikace. Prokazujemožnost pronikání i větších částeček relativně intaktním závěsným aparátem.Nepozorovali jsme souvislost jevu s klinickými komplikacemi.

In a group of 100 consecutive operations of cataract by the method of phacoemul-sification in 1998 in 9% penetration of fragments of lenticular material into theretrolenticular space was observed. It is a less frequent associated phenomenonof phacoemulsification. It provides evidence of the possible penetration of largerparticles through the relatively intact suspensory apparatus. The authors did notobserve an association of the phenomenon with clinical complications.
