Patients with incontinence do not have to use only one type of incontinence aid year-round, as was the case in the past. Depending on the patient's current needs, doctors can prescribe all types of incontinence pants and pads, but must always adhere to the financial and piece limits. The type of incontinence does not play a primary role here; it only determines the level of co-payment for the aid. For a patient who has been using adhesive diaper pants for a long time, pull-up pants might be more suitable during the summer due to outdoor activities, such as cycling or nature trips. These could all be reasons for a change. And the new products designed for people with moderate or moderately severe incontinence could be a solution for more active summer and autumn periods.
The Seni Active Basic pants with an absorbency of 1050 ml are very discreet, worn like regular underwear and protect the patient in all situations. Thanks to their elasticity, sophisticated shape, and size selection (M, L, and XL), they fit patients of all body types very well. They are breathable, which is especially important for active patients, and contain a superabsorbent that prevents unpleasant odors.
Dryness and double protection = comfort throughout the wear
For every user of incontinence aids, the feeling of dryness is essential. The Seni Active Basic pants quickly absorb moisture and, thanks to a special system, distribute the liquid along the length of the absorbent core. Side flaps, which prevent lateral leakage of urine, and a moisture indicator showing when the aid needs to be changed, are standard.
The same properties, but with greater absorbency, are offered by the pull-up pants Seni Active Classic, which can also be used by patients with severe incontinence. They are available in sizes M, L, and XL.
Both new products offer comfort not only during wear but also during changing. Side seams can be easily torn, and an adhesive strip at the back allows the used pants to be rolled into a small package.
Doctor visits as an opportunity to try the latest aid
Regular doctor visits for consultation and health status check or issuing a new voucher for incontinence aids are an ideal opportunity to see the current portfolio of individual suppliers’ aids, including any newly launched products. During the office visit, the patient and doctor can also discuss experiences with the aids, assess their suitability, or try samples of new products.
Incontinence aids can of course also be obtained with an e-voucher. Financial and piece limits apply to them, always set for a specific incontinence grade. For the Seni Active Basic diaper pants, the most advantageous prescription variant for patients with grade III incontinence sizes M or L for 3 months ensures 3 pieces of pants per day. The doctor can also add 1 pack, i.e., 30 items per month, in this incontinence grade.
